good to see you getting into the mix...as near as i can tell the m4 and the gau 5 were almost the same thing only 45 years apart.. the gau had a short barrel, telescoping butte.. it didnt have all the 1913 rails(picitinny) but thats about all. iv been thinking about getting one just to be able to get in the discussions with all of you black rifle owners..
also i had to call my group heath nurse last nite...during our conversation different pain relievers came up... basically all NSAID pain killers and asprin can cause stomach bleeding... maybe the reason your m.d. didnt want you on them
hang in there...a little prayer again tonite... gene

Jim, This adds new meaning to the old saying, "I don't take no crap from anyone". Steve, did the docs diagnose your condition yet? Is it Crohn's? Not many folks know that the intestinal tract is about 90% of the body's immune system. When I was on chemo they watched my blood count for signs of immune system destruction. Seems chemo kills the fast growing cells in your intestines whether they are good cells or bad cancer cells. I was warned to stay away from places with a lot of people who could infect me with easy to catch airborne illness (such as hospitals and malls). If it is Crohn's there is hope for a treatment that will probably normalize your life. My 60 year old female neighbor had it as a teen but has been doing well with proper meds. Every quarter she has to get an infusion of a drug that cost's about $7,000 but is covered by insurance. She has to watch her diet but also eats red meat rare and spicy foods. Every person's meds usually have to be different to match their specific conditions. Hang in there buddy and wear a mask until you get stronger when you are around a lot of people who might infect you with something. Pat P.

Well...tests..tests....and more tests.... They are looking at leukemia next..... Wish me luck.... Steve Steve, I looked up Lyme Disease and West Nile Virus in the event you might have been trekking in the woods in the last few months. The severe flu-like symptoms have some similarity but probably not as bad as what you have experienced. What was the ph of your blood? If it was too high toward acidic that's known to be a higher risk for cancer. davidcooleyonline.com/the-ph-factor-why-is-having-the-correct-ph-so-important/Prayers here. Pat P.
