I got the below note from Judy Price this morning.
She has asked me to pass the information along to Bill's friends on the Six Forum.
Please pray for them.
I'm sure Bill and Judy would appreciate you sending them a note.
Thank you
Pastor Jim ----------------------------------------------------------------
Bill has been diagnosed with 3 brain tumors. There was a drastic change in his behavior and routine so I took him to our doctor. A CAT scan showed the tumors which they said had metastasized from somewhere else. But, after 2 more scans and an MRI, they can't find anything anywhere else in his body! On January 4th, they're going to do a biopsy to see if it's malignant then do radiation if it is. We're using the Memorial Medical Center in Savannah with Dr. Kevin Ammar, neurosurgeon. Please pray for us. Since it's Christmas, the kids are here so that helps me a lot. Judy

Same here, count me in on the sent prayer list. Gods Speed Bill :teacher I modified the 'In Memory Of' board to include illness, and moved this into it. As Jim mentioned to me via e-mail, there are probably others out there needing our thoughts and prayers, so we have a place for them now.

Sorry to here about it and pray it is only temporary. AJ hang in there buddy. We miss you in the Forum! I ran across an article in this weeks issue of Time that may (or may not) be of interest. Its a discussion on participatory medicine and how patients with similar maladies are collaborating on-line to exchange information. Two sites mentioned are: www.patientslikeme.comwww.acor.orgPatients like me covers about 18 different problems. ACOR focuses solely on cancer. Per the article both sites block search engines, so you have to type in the URL. In addition there is new organization that just stood up called the Society for Participatory Medicine. You can get to it through Google. Good Luck :god_bless_usa

Got the following from Judy Price today ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim G To: bill and judy Sent: Tuesday, February 02, 2010 11:15 AM Subject: OR status
Just checking on you guys to see how you are doing...............Gotcha in my prayers........................... The Old Sarge
Bill is responding well to the radiation and chemotherapy---no nausea, thank the Lord. He gets tired very easily and we've noticed some weakness on his right side, but he's coping well. He begins his 3rd week of treatments tomorrow with 3 more after that. Thanks for your concern and prayers. That's what keeps us going. Judy

I heard from a fellow member here of this thread and wanted to express my full thank you for the wishes. It is a appreciated deeply. I will be around, but my activity may be tempered. I have no hard feelings over oposing ideals at all. It is the American way. Just please recall "The first stone" in your expression.
God bless all and thank you deeply for caring. AJ
