I got down and read the fine print on the wife's computer and it mentioned something about a hardware failure. So I unplugged from that port and plugged into a different USB port and that fixed the problem. I guess this old desktop is starting to catchup with its age. Gary, What device was performing poorly that moving to different USB port would fix? I know for a while manufacturers were providing older USB 2.0 while also adding a couple faster USB 3.0 connections. My desktop has 3 USB 3.0 and 3 USB 2.0 connections. If you are using camera, external hard drive etc you will notice a large difference in transfer speeds. The following is a speed comparison of different devices. Please note these are maximum speeds. USB 1.1 = 1.5 MB/s Firefire 400 = 50 MB/s USB 2.0 = 60 MB/s FireWire 800 = 100 MB/s USB 3.0 = 625 MB/s USB 3.1 = 1.21 GB/s eSATA = 750 MB/s Thunderbolt = 1.25 GB/s × 2 (2 channels) Thunderbolt 2 = 2.5 GB/s Lorin

Been without my computer for a few days and sharing Belinda's. Geeksquad @ Bestbuy installed Win 10 not long ago and the system quite working. Called Geeksquad and they had me try 4 things to get it going. It would open to the desktop but do nothing after that. They said that windows 10 was corrupted and bring it in. I went computer shopping (Laptop) and stopped at Staples in Silverdale. I looked around and got answers to my questions and explained my troubles. I said I was taking the laptop back to Bestbuy and he asked if I'd like him to take a look at it. I said sure. I a minute or less he had it figured out and working. He then went through the system and showed me where the CPU was operating at 99% and that indicated the drive was close to failing. I said, well I'll keep shopping for a new computer with a SSD. He informed me he could install a SSD inplace of my drive and the computer would work fine and boot-up faster, but internet speed would depend on my internet provider. So for 64 bucks I'll have the new SSD installed next week. BTW, Geeksquad charges to install win 10 and Staples said they have been doing that for free as it does not cost them so why should it cost the customer. Guess Bestbuy/Geeksquad lost me as a customer and Staples/OfficeDepot gains one.
In the future I do plan on getting me a new laptop with SSD and more power (Warp Speed)

if your reading this, go to the top of the page via the arrow on your right. underneath the seach box on your left it says 'F 106 delta dart forum'. click that and your back at the beginning of the forum. now click the F 106 circle just below that.

#$@%#$%^&*%$^ Brand new Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse model k360... Piece of crap cost 40.00 no instructions. Supposedly has Print Screen capability using paint.... Like hell it does. Splits the screen image when using key. Going to Paint and paste- nothing happens. Go to their freaking website and support and you get their Community forum bullshcmitt, you spend 45 min to an hour trying all the crap that the free helpers post and nothing works. Anybody else get suckered into this thing??

I had one and never liked it. Put it back in the box and there it and the mouse set. It worked fine but I got sick of changing batteries right in the middle of doing something.
Anyone want it. Pay the shipping and its yours.

Just got my computer back from the shop. It kept getting slower and slower and at the end when I selected shutdown a screen came up saying, "Toshiba Flash Cards" My laptop is running great now. Its been whipped clean of the malware. There were 36 malwares in my system and the tech people suggest most came from apps you look at on facebook and other places. My wife's desktop is real old. Its my old computer and it freezes often and has slowed. Got her a new laptop for Christmas under the tree. Its an i7 with a SSD. Watch out for those apps and keep your anti-virus up to date. FYI.

You guys may have had some problems with the Angry Bear and a Domain Name Server problem. Looks like it may have been fixed.
Email from Pat P. to Jim:
Jim,
If it turns out to be a problem with the Domain Name Server (DNS) it may be a problem that ProBoards can’t resolve.
The DNS is the Internet server that all users go through first to reach the ProBoards sites like the F-106 Forum.
I just got in and the last Forum post was by Gene 31 minutes ago.
Thanks,
Pat P.

Its proboard's fault. Get on the website ok, but go to open any topic and you get the bears and the humanoids

Hi Patrick McGee,
See attached screen grabs. Can you tell what’s going on?
On the ProBoards Support Forum multiple users have reported the same problem in the last hour (now 11-:19 AM CDT here).
Thanks Pat P.
