Gary and members:
Just emailed Pat McGee on this.
Patrick McGee,
Bullhunter reported picture attachments are not showing up on posts today 8-30-2020.
I quoted Gary’s post and posted a picture using the "Add Image to Post" button that worked but when clicked on it would not show the attached picture page. Then it showed a broken photo icon on the post thereafter.
I check ProBoards Support and two Board Owners reported that their paid attachment storage expired, and they asked if they updated their credit card number and paid up, would their attachments return on their Forums. The answer was YES from Support Rep.
Will you please check this out?
Thanks,
Pat P.

All the photos I see in the last few hours posted show up and click and open fine for me on Chrome, Edge, FF and Vivaldi. I just uploaded this one and it works also, Thanks MOW! This one had me stumped. May have been an temporary outage at ProBoards that didn't show up on the Support Page. I know that you are one of the few ProBoards owners who can write code to offer features that are not in the stock offering at ProBoards. Maybe at the Melbourne FL, F-106 Reunion we need to award you some cash when we select Air Museum Donations to fund from raffle proceeds. I know it's not easy to do all the work you do to keep your sites compatibles with Internet devices like Cell phones, Pads, PC's for the benefit of users worldwide. Thanks to you roving Social Media for new content we are also getting more Forum visitors/guests than ever: Users Online in the Last 24 Hours: 5 Staff, 8 Members, 192 Guests. Users online + LBer1568, Bullhunter, Don Fletcher, biendhoa, falconkeeper, catman, camara, Marvin Pine, Jim, oswald, MOW, Tom Dlugosh Shoutbox We owe you more! Pat P.

Gary, after so many "Problems" with numerous computers why didn't you already reboot. I looked back over previous computer issues and many different folks have said "In event of computer glitch, reboot and see if it goes away." 95% do. Just my two cents worth. And please stop blaming any computer for being stupid. They are only as smart as operator... lol

Gary, I agree with Lorin on the reboot. Reboot fixes many problems on your laptop/desktop computer, pad computer, and cell phone. I always turn my laptop off every night and unplug the battery charger (which makes the battery last longer). My Android cell phone stays on during the night and every few days I get a message to clear my app casche and reboot the cell phone. This clears storage space on my cell phone and the reboot helps.
I think you still have a slow line speed at your home. This may account for an occasional 404 error because every internet provider has a time out sequence that will generate a 404 error if the user has not been connected to their server within the time out sequence. This indicates that there may be too many users online trying to access your Internet provider at the same time (basically a network traffic jam).
You can reboot and the problem will usually resolve itself because other users in your area have either decided to wait until later or are in the process of rebooting to try again to connect.
Has your Internet provider given you any indication as to when your line speed will be increased to a higher speed? Thanks, Pat P.
