Ever wonder what it is like flying acrobatic maneuvers in a supersonic fighter, moving smartly in and out of
close formation? MRoss Shulmister a six driver..
Watching this slot man clench his teeth and pump up his stomach muscles reminded me of a friend from many years ago who flew with the Sabre Dancers kept breaking his false teeth doing that......I remember about 3 g neg and 5 positive and tried to stay away from those + g, unless I was trying to show off.....
aerobaticteams.net/en/teams/i150/Sabre-Dancers.html Here is a bit of 27 FIS history I bet you guys didn't know.......The old Sarge.

Astronaut Gene Cernan dead at 82. Last Astronaut to leave a footprint on the Moon. Fox News Neil Cavuto asked him what he felt now when he looked up at the moon. Gene choked up and said, "Humbled". How will we feel when we leave our last footprint on Earth? Pat

I would be looking for a helicopter to take me up there, not climbing. Much rather dangle from a chopper on a rope than that climb

Nice find produced by the Speed Channel. The film was grainy probably due to multiple generations of copying. Wish we had the original.
This was on the YouTube version: Published on Oct 12, 2015 The Convair F-106 Delta Dart developed from the F-102 Delta is an American all-weather interceptor aircraft manufactured by Convair and General Dynamics. The F-106 Dagger designed as the ultimate interceptor was the cornerstone of strategic air defense for the United States from 1959 to 1987, it was fitted with a Pratt & Whitney J75 that could reach a top speed of Mach 2.4. The maiden flight of the F-106 took place on the 26th of December 1956 and it went into service on June 1959. Primary users were the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. There were approx. 342 (2 prototypes, 277 F-106A, 63 F-106B) F-106 Delta Dart produced. The F-106 retired from active service from the Air National Guard in August 1988 and NASA in 1998. Cost per unit was approx. 4.7 million USD in 1973.The Convair F-106 Delta Dart proved to be the last dedicated interceptor in the U.S. Air Force service to date. Check out Image at goo.gl/K8BMCo

Rather than quote all of Pat's post quoting Gene's post, I will reference Gene's posting of the video. The video is not old, like back when the six came out.... No buzz numbers on the fuselage, In Flight Refueling receptacle mod has been done, indicating video was made sometime after 1965. The commentary sounds like the commentary Convair put out with other videos extolling the virtues of the Six..... The voice sounds familiar.. There are much better ones out there if one wants to look for them. Some are even in the side bar when you are looking at another video... Thanks, Gene for the posting....

www.f-106deltadart.com/piwigo/index.php?/category/455www.f-106deltadart.com/piwigo/picture.php?/8793/category/455Guess I need to find a better/easier way to display, showcase, find, view - whatever - the 105 videos in the library. This video was originally posted on YouTube by Jaglavak Military in Jan 2009. As a member of his channel I found and added it to the vid library, the old page, and carried it over into the new page. I think the thumbnail image is different. Not sure who the video creator is as I cannot make out the logo on it. If anyone knows I will add it to the description.
