No relief from the sun that day. We caught over 30 salmon. Could only keep two each person per day and they had to be hatchery fish. Attachments:

I miss the great NW. My three years at McChord were some of the best in my life. The fishing was great, except the barbless hook for salmon, the sceanary breathtaking and the weather... not as bad as folks make it out to be. The wife and I still talk about making it our next vacation spot. I envy you and having the boat, time and ability to use it.

When its fogging you need to watch your GPS so you do not drift into a shipping lane. Two things can happen. You get hit and sink or the USCG gives you a ticket.

I taught her to fish and catch fish. Just can't teach her to cut bait, clean fish, or hold a fish with out a clean towel. She refuses. But she sure can cook a fish.

The coast road to Neah Bay and it is no fun towing a boat with the sharp turns.

When my wife sees your pictures of Washington, she always asks, "Why did we leave McChord?"

My youngest daughter is the same way. LOVES to fish! Won't have anything to do with them before, or after that part however. Used to not even want to EAT fish. Okay. Guess you're going hungry tonight, because the rest of the family is eating fish! She's grown out of that at least!

When my wife sees your pictures of Washington, she always asks, "Why did we leave McChord?" Because it's in Washington state? I'm sorry, I grew up there -- I will always claim it as my home -- but it will take something really incredible to bring me back. (Of course a job would help...)
