Was in Vegas just recently and most if not all buffet's were closed. Eating was more money than we expected. Still had the fun of giving most of my money to the area joints. Bandits were not very good to me. Glad to be back to the quiet life and snow.

Usually rent a car so we can go to the canyon and national parks.

Bullhunter, Yes, the canyons are great also the dam. Couldn't get into the dam because of Covid-19. I have a friend that lives in Henderson.

Leaving a casino with any money is a win Gary. lol Lorin Well we have today, toight, & part of tomarrow. Time will tell. We got a package special. ($25 in credits for each of us for the slots - makes me feel like a liberal democrat wasting other peoples money) and also $100 dollar credit to use on anything. Good deal.

Damn, I feel like a long haul trucker after 2,400 miles from Port Ludlow, WA to Cannon AFB, NM. Stops in Twin Falls, ID - Las Vegas,NV - Monument Valley, AZ, - Bernillio, UT - and now near Cannon AFB, NM visiting with our daughter's Family. A 4 or 5 day rest from over the road driving is going to be nice. My two typing fingers are tired. Later will try and post some photos.

Met up with an internet friend Casey and his wife Paula yesterday at the SAC Museum in SE Nebraska. Was wonderful meeting up with then and sharing lunch and old USAF stories. I got to climb in the right seat of a B-52 where I spent many times running up the 8 jet engines. I have more pictures in my old camera but don't have a cable for it or a sim card slot in my new LP. I'll post them later when I can.
NICE! I had a few minutes left-seating 55-094 at Wichita in '02, a fellow B-52 Association member (COL Jim Hooppaw) gave me a quick cockpit checkout when Kansas Aviation Museum opened up their bird for us as part of the 50th Birthday party.

WE just got back from a 30 day vacation through 13 states and never asked about a mask or covid shots. How about that. Rarely saw people with masks. So I take my wife out to our favorite Mexican place to eat and I walk in and I'm asked about a mask. I walk the short distance to the table where my wife is already sitting as I first went to the mailbox. I paid no attention to the mask comment and it was only 15 or 20 steps to the table. One other couple were sitting in the back. What is the danger between the door and table? I sit down and my wife tells me I won't like the next question. I look at her puzzled when the server walks up and asks to see my covid shot card ! That is personal medical information protected by HIPPA Law 1996 signed by the President at that time. We get in a short debate on how she or the business does not have the right to see my personal medical information. This is like Hitler and the Nazi's asking "PAPERS PLEASE" My wife cuts in and suggests I just show it so we can eat. We are both hungry and tired from our trip and I didn't want my wife to cook tonight. So far our liberal county and the one west of us are the only 2 counties in the whole nation doing this. Question you should ask yourselves, "Is my county next?

Sadly, the Dicktatorship of Injustice decided that they weren't going to enforce HIPAA any more as soon as the word "Pandemic" left Dr. Fraud's flapping facesphincter.
