This might not be a new thread but I see a lot of Minot alums saying they worked on or crewed Balls Two. Well, so did I and here is what it looked like in 1970. I just threw in a couple other pictures of Minot, too. edit - Pat P. corrected links to pics by clicking "Insert Image" code [/img] The copied red font below into the middle of the brackets ][ a href="http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/lugnuts55/?action=view¤t=F-106A002.jpg" target="_blank"><img src=" i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/lugnuts55/F-106A002.jpg" border="0" alt="59-002, 1970"></a>, a href="http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/lugnuts55/?action=view¤t=03-27-2009035042PM.jpg" target="_blank"><img src=" i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/lugnuts55/03-27-2009035042PM.jpg" border="0" alt="57-2545"></a>, href="http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/lugnuts55/?action=view¤t=03-27-2009024552PM.jpg" target="_blank"><img src=" i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss44/lugnuts55/03-27-2009024552PM.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

lugnuts it looks like you are trying to use HTML code which doesn't seem to work in the forum's coding Sometimes it is a matter of checking/unchecking some boxes, but I'm not sure how Pat has it set up here... Anyhoo I'm guessing you are trying to make thumbnails where viewers can click on them to see a larger image. Not sure if it is different for photobucket (a different photo hosting service than mine) but what I do is make a second image smaller than than the original and link to it so the code used in this forum looks like this (without the ****) [*url= FULL SIZE PHOTO URL HERE *][*img*] THUMBNAIL PHOTO URL HERE [*/img*][*/url*]End result is a thumbnail linking to a larger version of the image Hope that helps

Thanks for the info, Lady. I'll figure this out yet. I haven't decided which hosting web to use but I have pictures on three of them. I will use the one that I find the easiest to uise.

I've started putting my photos into photobucket. Its easy to post them and they look better. I also like the idea you can give a relative or friend the link and they can go look at your pictures. Learn something new almost everyday.

Very nice pics. Lighting and white balance is perfect. That museum is very hard to shoot good pics because the lighting is set low to enhance the visual beauty of the aircraft.
Scroll down to image # 183. Look familiar?

Belinda and I were on RAF Lakenheath today and the Spitfire was freshly painted and clean. Last trip a year ago it did not look this good.

good shots... i'v always considered the "spit" to be the corvette of the fighters back then... and for some reason the P 51 to be the mustang of those glorious days...

Pat P. Ditto on Pat's comments Gary. While I was in England and Germany it was way back in the 70's. While a lot of England remains the same, time has past and it is indeed nice to see you share your travels. An old expression at the Pub's I frequented was "I'll 'ave a half". I started back during WWII when American's when asked if they wanted a drink from Brit, knew times were rough and would accept the invite, but order just half a pint. Some fine beers brewed over there as well as tons of great memories. Thanks again Lorin
