being an ole a f photog... i can say those are great photos.. the old but proven aircraft of a by gone age are very much appreciated in the museums and in print... the boeing museum of flight in seattle wa. has a large number of ww ii aircraft on display. on a personal note: my dad sat in the back seat of the dauntless for gunnery training. and i got to meet robert conrad at the big airshow in arlington, wa. back in '78...he was there with his corsair along with the t-birds, golden knights, and the blue angels

The pictures from Chino are great. There are too many air museums for me to get to, so am always happy to see pictures from those I have not visited. My favourite air museum is the Imperial War Museum, Air at Duxford, England. Duxford is an old RAF base that is still operational for the museum. They have a wonderful collection of birds from all eras. The American Wing is a large hanger like building with a glass front that faces the runway. It has US birds of every stripe from WW I to to-day. Even has a B52 sitting near a B29 and a B24. They have a number of flyable American and British WW II birds, along with other eras. Even have some German fighters. They do restoration work and it is really interesting to go through the hangers where the work is being done. If you should get a chance to go to England, be sure to take in the museum at Duxford.

The museum in Oregon is at McMinnville. Not too far from Portland on old Highway 99 West. It is also a nice drive to Tillamook for some cheese and a great ice cream cone. The air museum at McMinnville is the home of the Spruce Goose. Enjoy the cone.

Yep, it is a WW II blimp hanger along with some new buildings to house more of their collection.
