I hope someone has an answer. This is a no BS comment and question. Yesterday at 19:30 I was laying out side looking dead straight up. I was lying on a trampoline talking on a cell phone. An aircraft that looked very much like a F-106 flew right across my vision. I am a retired MSgt and have seen just about every aircraft the Air Force ever made. • This aircraft was silver in color and very much like the shape of the F-106. Matter of fact on one of these web pages there are some patches. The red one looked almost exactly like what I saw. • Visibility was unlimited and there were light whispery clouds at high altitude. • The aircraft flew over the high whispery clouds. • It was moving very fast. In just a few seconds I lost visibility of it. • I heard no sonic boom but after several minutes I heard a very low jet rumble. • 15 minutes after I saw it I called Easterwood airport. The tower operator told me they had no radio contact, but they have no radar either. He then started to complain about how they were just about the largest airport with no radar. • There was no contrail left by the aircraft. • It was flying in an E/SE direction. • I would guess it was about the size of an F-106 but had a longer front fuselage section. • There was nothing I could see after the smooth aft portion of the craft. The F-106 has the exhaust section that is about the same size as the center fuselage. This craft just had a flat section. • It looked like a triangle with a center fuselage sticking forward about 2/3 the length of the triangle portion. • Caldwell TX is 30 miles west of Bryan/College station. It is the home of Texas A&M (go Aggies) and the George Bush Presidential Library.
My question is what kind of aircraft did I see.

Here is the link www.f-106deltadart.com/318fis.htm to red patch. The only difference between what I saw and the red patch was the aft section was smooth in what I saw flying overhead.
