As you all have noticed the forums were down for awhile, then when they did come back up the forum.f-106deltadart.com wasn't working properly. The hosting company has 108 forum servers located in 4 different sites. One of those sites caught fire and while the servers themselves were not damaged the building had no power so of course nothing worked. They have been re-locating the servers (not just forums, but all their business servers), which appears to be complete and hopefully they have all the data restored properly. It's good to be back on-line.

I suppose the current official address (URL) is on one domain name server (DNS) and the old URL is on a different DNS and the actual web pages are on a third site server. Hence the front door / back door scenario. I have made the old URL a favorite marked "Back Door" in case something like this happens again mcgeep.proboards7.com/index.cgi . I doubt it ever will happen again since the guys will probably rethink their backup strategy but it's always good to be prepared. Heal Fast Pat, Pat P.

The one URL link I never did change is on the top of the left side menu on my www.f-106deltadart.com pages where it allows you to login to the forums. It looks like this: That still points to the root URL of mcgeep.proboards7.com and will remain as such indefinitely.
