Bill and anyone else interested,
I got the following e-mail from Mark about the cost of doing a colors change for a 27th FIS bird.
"Thanks for contacting me regarding the print. If there are four of you who will be getting the F-106 in the markings of #59-0043 we can split the $50 four ways. The cost to each of you would be the price of the print plus $12.50. I will invoice each of you separately. I would just need the e-mail addresses of the other interested parties and I will e-mail an invoice to each of you via my Paypal account."
Are you you still interested? If so, figure out who is actually in and send him our e-mail addresses. The more people we can get into this the less it will cost each of us.

Tom I imagine the Old Sarge might be interested in this. He is on the road in CA this week and away from his email. Thanks, Pat P.

Mark has only received two emails so far so if you want a print of 043 you need to email him and get on the list.

Thank you very much guys for your interest in having a print made of #0043. I have heard from two members so far.
Just to clarify the question regarding payment, I would e-mail an invoice via my Paypal account. It is not necessary to have a Paypal account to pay the invoice. Paypal gives the option to use a credit card for payment.
One other thing I should note, the price I listed regarding the cost of the print does not include shipping. I charge shipping based on the size of the print and the shipping address. Once I know your individual shipping addresses I will be able to give you an estimate of the shipping costs.

Good question Marv. While researching this painting I was very concerned with getting a correct depiction of the missile being fired. During my research I found this site. I will steer you to the page here on Pat's world which states the missiles could be fired in pairs or in salvo. It also states the AIM-4G (IR head) missiles were carried in the rear and they were usually fired before the AIM-4E (missiles with the radar homing heads) in the forward bay. Here is the link to the page: www.f-106deltadart.com/history.htmThe description is under the "Armament" header. The print in the markings of the 84th is available through my website. -Mark

What Marv is getting at is that the missles only fired in pairs, either both aft or IR, or both forward or RADAR. Not a big deal for me, it's still a fantastic job.
The 6 could supposedly make four passes to bring down an enemy aircraft. IR missiles, RADAR missiles, the Genie and then the aircraft itself.

I asked Mark if he make that print in the 318th FIS tail flash with the tail number (90004) for the 1st Six I crewed when I got to McChord, looks better in person. I recommend his work and well worth the money.

I would be interested in one of these of 043 with 27TH markings also. Lets see how many would be interested & contact him to see what it would cost if we have several interested. How many takers do we have ?? I received my copy of Marks F-106 Painting in its 27th. livery. I am very pleased with the the painting. The painting was delivered in great condition and was very well packaged! Mark has updated his website with the 27th and 318th version of the painting. His website is at: www.markkarvon.com/aviationartmodernera1.htmlBill

Received my print done by Mark of F-106 with 27TH FIS markings & it is AWESOME. If any of you want a great looking memento of the F-106 this one is worth every cent. If you are looking for other markings besides the 27TH, Mark can do others if there is a good picture of what you want available. GREAT JOB Mark.

Hey, I was surprised to find a "SIX" painting for sale with the 84th FIS markings. I will be ordering one as soon as I can.

i'd like to see 076, "the freedombird" with its 318th 'green dragon' tail in a painting... it had a lot of color that i couldn't capture on film while chasing it thru different light values while flying around mt. rainer..
