I have this forum currently setup so ANYBODY can post without actually Registering or Logging On, however I'd pefer you register as a user so everyone can see who's who. Also you can have your own avatar and such. Totally up to you all though.

Hi Jim, Now that I got here I'm not sure what I need to do. Trying to figure out how to navigate this thing is like trying to put socks on a rooster. But while I'm here , I have a new funny for you: A Texan (probably Pat) walks into a pub in Ireland and clears his voice to the crowd of drinkers. He says, "I hear you Irish are a bunch of hard drinkers. I'll give $500 American dollars to anybody in here who can drink 10 pints of Guinness back-to-back." The room is quiet and no one takes up the Texan's offer. One man even leaves (probably Jim). Thirty minutes later the same gentleman who left shows back up and taps the Texan on the shoulder. "Is your bet still good?" asks the Irishman. The Texan says yes and asks the bartender to line up 10 pints of Guinness. Immediately the Irishman tears into all 10 of the pint glasses drinking them all back-to-back. The other pub patrons cheer as the Texan sits in amazement. The Texan gives the Irishman the $500 and says, "If ya don't mind me askin', where did you go for that 30 minutes you were gone?" The Irishman replies, "Oh...I had to go to the pub down the street to see if I could do it first!"

I like your new forum style. Its exactly like another forum I check into frequently. Once people get the hang of it, I think it will get wider use.

Hi Pat. Just went over to Military.com and they have a forum structure similar to this one. They had 150+ members and 200+ guests on the Air Force board as I logged in (quite a crowd). There are hundreds of topics nested in the forums and some are quite intensely debated (may need wardens rather than moderators). This style forum may take a little longer to navigate than the old one but if the cost is better - so be it! I think it will be fine after folks get used to it. Hang in there, Pat Perry

If this OLD tirekicker can swim through this, (dog paddle is still swimming) ain't no reason any one can't move around in it.......Not sure about navigatin, that takes skill.

Yea, this is not a new format, only to us here. I've been writing on this and other even more pro versions out in the Mustang world for some time. I think it'll cathc on, just takes time.

Hello, Tim Trautman, new member. I was 10 when the last of the Darts headed out of Paine Field Washington for the last time. I now live on the Oregon Coast and I heard from a WWII Vet/volunteer at the Evergreen Air Museum in MacMinnville, Oregon, that their facility will soon receive a Dart. I contacted the collection office and I'm hoping they'll get back to me with a tail number. Please advise if you know. I'll notify when I find it. TT

TT For all interested in aviation history, the Evergreen Air Museum in MacMinnville, Oregon also hosts an SR-71 and the Big Daddy of Wood Giants, the Howard Hughes Spruce Goose. If "Ole Sarge" could get ahold of that one he could build a really Big Clock, complete with a bar and a naughty room.
