Is it just a coincident that Bears and BUFFs are still mainstay of our military strike force? Yes way back in my MA-1 days we were intercepting the new "Bears" and it was just a big game for aircrews. We prototyped a camera system on F-106 with a side and forward facing 35 mil cameras out the Radar compartment door (Forward left compartment) These birds were deployed to Alaska and when we saw film it showed a co-pilot in bear "Mooning" the six drivers. They both knew it was just a game to keep us both active and on guard.
