Just finished reading this one by Lt Col Ed Cobleigh (Ret) who flew F-4Ds with the 433 TFS/8 TFW out of Ubon. (Jim Scanlon's old unit.) www.amazon.com/Hell-Fighter-Pilots-View-Vietnam/dp/1523680725As he writes in the preface it is, "... a series of brief accounts..." of his flying, and other events he experienced, and his thoughts on the why. Definitely gives a lot of credit to his crew chiefs in many passages. I enjoyed the relatively quick - 268 page - read. This is available for free on Amazon with an Amazon Prime membership, and I read it over two nights on my Fire tablet. Mark |

Thanks, and sorry guys. It's been, well, different for some time. I think about you all, and trying to keep my head on straight as my life goes crazy. I'm still me, and surviving. I'll try not to be so much of a stranger. I promise!
