The only time I was "officially" allowed to take any pictures at any base I went to was during open house. The rest of the pics I got were either in the shop, or from the shop door.
I even got in trouble for trying to take a picture of the C-141 I was riding on in Guam in the 90s!

if I remember right the C17 was a little tail heavy, kinda like the babe in the pic. i think i see a little cellulite in them cheeks... while the C141 was a little nose heavy...

Gary, I get C-17 flyovers almost every day. We are not on primary flight path for main runway, but we are on flight path for most go-arounds. We did have a flight of F-16 from Toledo OH ANG unit do a flyover for most of the state on Thus. Jim, it looks like your prophecy about Ohio gas is coming true. Gas is selling from $1.75-$1.89 for last couple of days, We also had a frost again this morning. Same for last 3 days. Weather folks say this should be the last. So I might go get some tomatoes and pepper plants this week. My son came over on Thur and trimmed our scrubs and ran weed wacker around yard. It sure helped me out. I can run zero turn OK, but doing all the trip gets to my back real quick. Lorin
