I just have a short story about being in Korea at the right time but not the best time. During the Bob Hope Christmas stop in Osan, I was in sickbay and had to tune in the radio to hear it instead of seeing it. I had the Hong Kong Flu. Oh Well, I guess.

Well, been a whole year and not one Christmas or winter story. Its time.
The years 1978-1982 spent at Sembach AB, west Germany. Yes, then it was east & west Germany, and a east and west Berlin separated with a wall. It was the Cold War Days.
We used to get some awful winter storms with snow and sometimes freezing ice storms. One storm had passed and there was no flying and maintenance was pretty slow work wise, so a few airman decide to make a snowman. This is what it looked like.
