This video slide show I just completed. Covers our stop for an afternoon at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, England.
Enjoy. Comments welcomed.

Very cool little vid Gary! (I see you got a model to pose for you too! Great job!)
I didn't realize just how many USAF aircraft they had there. Nice treat!

That was great, Gary.
Brings back memories of my trips to Duxford to visit the Museum.
Did you get to see any of their flying exhibits in the air.
On one trip I watched an RAF marked P-40 "Beat up the field", then a U.S. marked P-51 do the same thing.
A lady was piloting the Mustang.
Quite a place to visit.
Mark, the big building built like it is in a hill, is the American Wing and is filled with all sorts of American planes, along with others that are in the other exhibit areas, including a "Black Bird".

Ah those sweet sounding Merlin's!
A Packard Motor Car Company V-1650-7 Merlin liquid-cooled, supercharged SOHC 60° V-12 aircraft engine at the Smithsonian Institution National Air and Space Museum. This engine weighs 905 pounds (411 kilograms) and produces 1,490 horsepower at 3,000 r.p.m. (NASM)
No wonder Arfons used them in his dragsters with that horsepower to weight ratio.

Not just Art Arfons and his speed cars, but lots of Unlimited Hydroplanes.
The boats used the 1650 and the 1710, which had less power, but plenty to drive the boat's prop.
They put up some unbelievable "Rooster Tails".
