I'm getting ready to build a couple 106s and would like to make one with a coffin and another with a gun pod. The trouble is, I can't come across any photos or drawings of the coffin and not much on the gun pod or how the H.U.D. was connected to the front panel.

Going through some old posts, and must have missed this one. Ikar, are you talking about the lower equipment rack in the F-106B weapons bay? There are some pics in "F-106 Delta Dart in Detail & Scale" of pretty much all the items you are looking for. Here's an example... Yep. Been there! BTW, be sure to check out the photos section on the Convair F-106 Delta Dart group Facebook page too. Some time ago a bunch of pics were posted of the cockpit with HUD pics. May be of some help.
