I got up this morning, feeling quite well and happy.

Ate sausage, eggs and rye toast for breakfast.

Poured a cup of coffee.

Did my morning Bible reading and really felt great.

Until!

I sat myself down at the computer, I did, I turned it on, then read some startling information.

I suddenly felt much older than I had been feeling.

What momentous event did I see that made me feel old?

To-day Sophia Loren turned Eighty Years on the calendar.

How can that be?

She has always looked so young.

One of the most beautiful women to ever be seen on the Silver Screen is 80?

No way.

Well, gentlemen, I guess the calendar doesn't lie.

Sophia Loren was born on 20 September 1934.

Saw a recent picture of her and she still looked better than any of the current crop of "actresses".

Happy Birthday, Sophia.

It is 1345 hrs at the old Sampson AFB, NY on the 15th of July 1952 having arrived by train from Buffalo,NY..... 65 years ago!!!!!!! this dogtag has been worn or carried on a key ring since that day. Guess this makes us both old. The Old Sarge
