I should have said the Nekoma ABM site was owned by the Army when the pictures were taken, but is now owned by a Hutterite group.

If you go to this site, click on "RADAR SITES" on the left side, then type in ND you can find Fortuna AFS. LOTS of pics, documents, and history. Type in any state, or the name of the station, etc. (You'll see what I mean if you have never been to that site.) I have literally spent HOURS on that web site. It is that fascinating to me. www.radomes.org/museum/Enjoy! BTW, we, (this site) even have an entry if you scroll down on the left side!

Last week my wife and I visited the places we used to be assigned in West Germany. Both are closed down. Only a couple hundreds of the old Sembach Runway is left and used as a parking lot. The old hanger I used to work in sometimes is still there but being used by a commercial company.
