Father of the Six -- The Duece.
Folks, this is a REALLY good video. Mostly on the F-102, but there is some EXCELLENT background info on the production of the F-106, and it IS worth a watch. 23 minutes, and change of great history. I especially liked seeing the side-stick installation that was initially planned for the F-106.
(Note: The sound may be a bit low. I had to turn my speakers up much more than normal for a YouTube video, but it's all there.)

anybody seen this lately? If you want believe half of this guy's crap, he is only about 1/4 right.... Believe in some of the early posts some former Deuce drivers made less than complimentary comments. 1962 flame out crashed because the engine wouldn't restart - airplanes fault. 1000 built......The F-102 served in Vietnam, flying fighter patrols and serving as bomber escorts. A total of 14 aircraft were lost in Vietnam: one to air-to-air combat, several to ground fire and the remainder to accidents. Bullschmitt still stinks even in a PP presentation. The deuce did not have nose tail radar lock on detection and the Mig fired at the assend of the plane... This idiot copied from Wikipedia....
