I was sorry to learn of Col. Breault's passing. He was a great man and leader. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Sheila. While assigned to the 318 FIS at McChord AFB, my wife was in charge of the Enlisted Wives Club. When the Officer's Wives Club joined forces with the enlisted group to support squadron activities, it was Sheila who kept the junior officer's wives "in check" when the wives tried to "wear their husbands' rank" during group meetings! The Breaults were a class act.

Good evening, LT. Col Breault can be best remembered for the historic picture in the Mc Chord airlifter as our last beloved F-106 left the tarmac. He ushered in our F-15A's and to my suprise and relief, 76-057 replaced my beloved 59-0057. I embraced the new airframe not for personal reasons, yet for the team's goals itself. Lt. Col Breault ushered in a new era...the era of the eagle...
May he rest in peace...he will be remebered by me

HELLO all my condolences to the Breault Family. I remember then Capt Breault well he gave me my check ride or taxi check back when crew chiefs were able to taxi and run-up. We were taxiing down to the run-up area and i was all over the taxi way he told me to stop. He asked me what was i using for reference i told him the boom and the yellow taxi line he broke out in laughter you are putting too much pressure on yourself just keep the yellow line between your legs sure did make taxiing easy after that. I will miss him he was a good man and officer.
