???Remember the canopy seal on the T-33. Jez I hated to change it. Didn' we use that brownish red rubberized glue to keep it in place?

The T-33 on a stick is in a small Veterans Memorial Park in Costilla County in southern Colorado. There is not much there except the T-33 and a few picnic tables. It is just off of Highway 160 just East of Ft. Garland. I would drive buy it every year on my way to go elk hunting South of Alamosa. They are taking good care of the bird, keeping it all polished up bright and shiny. If you are ever traveling down through that part of the country, do stop. Also the Great Sand Dunes National Park is near by and the Ft. Garland Museum is also an interesting stop, for an example of an early American Western Fort. (Without the log stockade) Also Kit Carson was the commander there for awhile. The park is right in the middle of what used to be the last great Spanish Land Grants in the United States, the Trinchera Blanca Ranch, also some very interesting history.
I have also been in touch with Matthew Burchett, the Curator of the Wings Over the Rockies Air Museum at the old Lowery AFB about the last F-106 at AMARG as they do not have one to complete their Century series collection and he has advised me that they are on the USAF Museums list for it.
