Flight over Superstition Mountains in Arizona ..Go "full screen". The photography is HD, the planes are gorgeous, and, most notably, it is shot as the B17 takes off from Falcon Field in Mesa, AZ and then flies over the Superstition Mountains to the east of Apache Junction and then on to Roosevelt & Canyon lakes on the east edge of the Phoenix valley. The backdrops are stunning. Music is from the mini-series John Adams.

only thread i could find on the flying fortress... just watched 'airforce' dated 1943... about a flight of forts ferrying from california to hickam the day pearl harbor was attacked... great movie... howard hawks knew his stuff... which reminded me of the guy that has that T33 in his back yard... his dad was flying one of those B 17s that morning... he has the actual flying gear from that mission in his 'museum'... just thought i'd share... www.imdb.com/title/tt0035616/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_19

They had an air show in Ames,Ia a few years back and I took a ride in the B-17 Sentimental Journey . The cost was kinda high, but may never get a chance like that again. Man was that a thrill.

Ever get a chance to fly in a P-51, and have the money- no matter the cost- do it.. It will beat the greatest sexual experience you ever had. Even a Six ride at mach 2 pales in comparison.

Never could understand the intelligence level of someone who would willingly step out of a perfectly good airplane. Perhaps, just perhaps, I should clarify that sex thing, I was talking about the first solo flight- 50 years ago when my sexual abilities had no equal........ biendhoa took me on a tour though a Fort in Winterhaven, Florida a few years ago..........
