It's one helluva a snowmobile for sure! Not sure of the tail number, looks censored.... I am sure someone knows the tale of this. I think it is the Six that landed itself. I heard of the incident. Did a pretty damned good job for sure. A J

This is a 71st FIS bird [don't recall #] from Malmstrom that 1st Lt Gary Faust punched out of after getting into a flat spin. It recovered and landed on an Indian Res and they wanted to keep it. Col. Lee Wolford wanted to fly it out, but the engine had too much FOD and the stable table had exited the 05 door and damaged the missile bay doors. CMSgt Lee Kimball got it off the ground with some sort of a big rubber balloon and it was trucked back. I remember it well. Joe A.
