Just added some new photos on the 71st FIS, and 498th FIS unit pages. The 71st page additions includes several photos of pilots posing in the cockpit of their F-106s including the Commander, Lt. Col. Ellis E. Stanley. Not sure exactly when these were taken, but Lt Col Stanley was the CC from late 1966 to 1967. Short autobiography from Col. Stanley himself... www.justinmuseum.com/oralbio/stanleyeebio.htmlAdditionally I added a photo of the Commanders of the 57th Fighter Group (Col. Philip E. Joyal), and the 498th FIS (Lt. Col. Raymond J. Marzullo) on the 498th page. Note the unit patches worn by each man. All of the photos were found on a blog I visit called " Jet Pilot Overseas", but it seems most photos there were taken in the states! No problem! I'm posting both photos here, but again, they are in the unit pages as well. Enjoy! (P.S. Wouldn't you like to have that model hanging from your living room ceiling!)

WOW, that is an impressive model. Looks like the boom is a bit short in scale, but it's still a gorgeous job.

That is a great model, and huge. I'm a bit surprised though that a model that large was allowed to get by with that glaring intake shape error.

Wow! Tough crowd. Actually I noticed all of that stuff too. I'll bet the price was right, however!
