It appears that there is a large amount of members missing on the total members list. I was wondering why?

The drop is because some were duplicate registrations, and others had only visited once in several years and or never made a post...... I had always felt that the total was in error. The MOW went and cleaned it up by removing the above....... The Old Sarge

I used Jun 2011 as the cutoff date. Anyone who Registered but never logged on or posted up until that date was removed. And I think giving year and a half was actually a little too 'nice' but benefit of the doubt and all. If I see no change in any of those older accounts over the next few months I will decrease that time limit to sometime in 2012.

Good thing, MOW, seems it was long overdue. I would cut the limit to one year, and later to six months for those who never log on after registration. Thanks for taking some of your valuable time to clean up the files. Jim Too

Thanks for taking some of your valuable time to clean up the files. Jim Too Yes, that's my plan actually. I didn't want to start too drastically so I gave it 1.5 years, and then I'll be watching and cut it down from there.

well Ron, just so you won't miss my post if you should visit- here it is: 6 hours ago @postalron2000 said: you've finally shown your true self. you and your troll amigos, the guy who delivers sermons from the mount, the guy who swears he wrote them, and the enforcer can I disagree. no name calling, huh? oh, sorry, only when you guys feel like it. GARY, CLOSE YOUR EYES, CUZ THIS ISNT FOR YOU GO *dang* YOURSELF. I'VE BEEN THROWING DIGS AT YOU GUYS FOR WEEKS, and you're too self centered to notice it. Being a retired master sergeant is commendable, but your not in the service anymore. the drama here is like teen magazine. No, Ron, not too selfcentered to notice, just too damned tired of reading your arrogant, self-centered bullshit that you never bothered to stand behind with any back up- always your insinuation that we were the idiots because we couldn't read between the lines of your diatribe. I doubt that you could ever enter into a really intelligent discussion on much of anything. If this was your attitude while active, I am surprised that you didn't have a visit or 2 behind the hangar. I know you would have had at least one with me.. Gang, let us just let this rotten grape dry up and rot on the vine... The Old Arrogant, Pious, High and Mighty Sarge Are you sure 'YOU' selected not to re-enlist?? Sometime, why don't you sit down and read all of your posts from day one..

Ron - I approved your new account 'shootemup' knowing it was you giving you the benefit of the doubt of playing nice with others and even wished you a welcome back Shoutout. But, I guess the only reason you came back is so you could leave us with a parting gift. Well, leaving us you are... so as you so aptly titled your parting gift 'good bye, hahahahaha'. While you have crossed the line many times in the past, yet still allowed to remain, this goes too far. There is no room here for this kind of trash and no room left here for you or your trash talk. I had hoped your return was a sign you'd play nice with others, but clearly your intentions were different and you have once again proved to us all just how much of a hater you really are... to everyone and everything! I would have thought that you'd feel you had something good going here, like the rest of the members seem to feel. But instead of embracing what you had in this place, in this group, you elected to pi$$ it all away in the name of always being right, always arguing, always showing the negative in everything you wrote, always being the pessimist. You are definitely a 'glass half empty kind of guy'. Well, I hope you got all that off your chest and feel better now that you have 'set the record straight' . I'll leave this here for a day so others can read it, and also so you can rant some more, but after that I will be banning your account, banning your IP address and most likely deleting most of your posts, because with a pi$$poor attitude like yours I question whether we want any trace to remain. So, 'good bye, hahahahaha'

Well Pat - You tried! I cannot believe that someone who has been given a second chance did NOT make the best of it and try to assimilate back into the group! Yes - he had opinions and ideals and vocalizations that were offense to some , as well as many - but it was in his hands as to what he was going to make of it. A handshake for ya in what you allowed and what you took for actions. I would NOT have been as nice! Have an "OB" and lets move on. I'll have a "Guinness" for ya! MArv

Well, since we KNOW he's going to pop on as a guest, and read anyway I may as well say this. Ron, we tried to be patient. We tried to be polite. We put up with you for to long. You made me so mad once I just didn't even come to the site for a week to prevent myself from losing my religion with you. Not that it would have helped clear up any misunderstanding you have with me, but I decided to take the high road. Oh yes, I got the messages with the not so subtle hidden meaning, I just CHOSE TO IGNORE YOU. I've been insulted by you for the last time. I am very sorry you feel the way you do. Speaking for myself I really wish I knew why, I truly do, but you never really explained yourself. That's okay. We know now. Oh, and for what it's worth I prefer the terms "experienced", "proud", and "seasoned" over the terms you called me, but your opinion of me isn't worth the time it took you to type the words. I really don't care. I am proud of my service, proud of my family, thankful for the friends I have, and sometimes I really can't even believe the life I've lived so far. Now to be included in this fraternity of patriots, and heroes; well, I am truly humbled. And to set the record straight these are the units I served in from left to right. Hell yes, I am proud of those patches, and you will never know how badly I wanted to wear one that said "Fighter Interceptor Squadron", or "FIS." (For the life of me I can't figure out why me posting these patches set you off. Damn strange. Damn strange.) U.S. Army: Intelligence and Security Command 18th Airborne Corps 525th Military Intelligence Brigade (Airborne) 9th Infantry Division (Motorized) 1st Armored Division* 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne) (Colorado Army National Guard) U.S. Air Force 134th Air Refueling Wing (Tennessee Air National Guard) 121st Air Refueling Wing* (Ohio Air National Guard) 319th Air Refueling Wing* 40th Airlift Squadron* (317th Airlift Group) * Denotes unit I served with in combat, in a theater of war, not distinguishing myself by sitting in a building a couple miles from the Vegas strip.Good riddance Ron. Good riddance. I'll leave you with this. No hidden message. It's as clear as I can make it. By the way, this is an old photo, and I added a few oak leaf clusters to a few of those before I retired.

Nice rack of ribbons Mark. Eh - most are just "I was there" stuff! (Wouldn't THAT just make someone a little crazy!) A few of them did help me max out my "decorations" promotion points for Master Sergeant, so I'll take 'em! Pretty proud of that one with the splash of purple in it. That's the Humanitarian Service Medal I got for flying missions in support of the Haiti earthquake in 2010. I never did get the actual medal, from my unit though. I may have to go buy that one someday. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanitarian_Service_Medal

www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/Mark, Man you do have a chest full, congrats and thank you for your service. Go to the USAF records archive and request DD214 and medals list and explain you were never provided your Medal. When I applied for the Korean Service Medal for my time at Osan with 318th, they sent me a complete set of medals/ribbons and all the devices to make a complete set of medals/ribbons. The only thing I didn't get was the brass mounting device as that was not part of ribbons. Supposedly you can place all ribbons on uniform without the optional mounting hardware. Lorin
