Think about this, guys....................... Right now you don't see any ads, right? Inever found the ads to be a detractor in the old forum...... But, this can not be a one time deal...... Pat will need to be able to depend on a positive source to pay the bills generated by being ad free...... As far as I know, Pat Perry has been helping with this cost for the past 6-7 years.... Pat M. is looking for donations, but I doubt that the forum can operate on donations.... For longer than what the side bar says, Pat M has operated a place for SIXERS out of his pocket- back to 1998 almost 15 years... The Old Sarge

For longer than what the side bar says, Pat M has operated a place for SIXERS out of his pocket- back to 1998 almost 15 years... The Old Sarge Pat P. here. Pat M. has been paying the freight on all his sites by his lonesome. I'm glad he put the Donate button up so we can do so if we feel inclined. The ads we have on this forum are very small (at top and bottom of page) and are unobtrusive. I have even clicked a few of them when something interesting caught my eye. Most of the time I never notice them. The picture storage space is important to me so that we can capture and store aircraft pictures and not have to worry about losing links when someone decides to cancel their membership on a photo hosting site - or worse, when a photo hosting site like WebShots decides they are not going to do that anymore... Rat Bast.... Pat M. has spent some large bucks over the years buying site rental, hardware and software to support his sites. Not to mention the ten of thousands of hours he has put in over the years to create and maintain them. And how he jumped in to save websites when Bob Justus and Erv Smalley died. When your 40+ hour DoD job is IT and they send you TDY all over Asia to do it, there's only one reason you do the websites - LOVE. The last thing I'd want to see after a 40-60 hour week is a computer. Oh, and did I mention those fine Challenge Coins and Key Chains he designed for us? Let me reach over and smack his +Karma button while I'm thinking about it. Pat P.

I do not like using my credit cards on the internet. Rarely do it. I'll be happy to send a small donation. Just message me your address and I'll mail you a check.

Thanks, Patrick McGee, for providing us several websites to post information that keep us informed about news that is important to us. We know that it takes money to keep websites operating and secure users private contact info protected from Hackers, Scammers, and Phishers who try to steal users' info and money. I have had the pleasure of working with you for many years and will continue to do so until I run out of life.
This post has some new info on the F-22 Raptor, the F-35 Lightening (three versions), and the NGAD process (Next Generation of Air Dominance). It also introduces the Sam Eckholm's USAF Special Operations Group training which is the USAF version of the Seal Teams BUDS training. Sam also writes about everything new regarding aircraft and weapons systems. www.youtube.com/@sameckholm

Thanks Pat I appreciate the kind words. Yea, it gets expensive to keep everything operating, but it's the cause that counts. I am in the process of making some changes to the website to include a dedicated page to There I Was and also the Video Library. I will be removing both of that content from the Photo Gallery in the future. All the links will be updated as I go.
