Do you know the different between the Bookmark and Participated buttons? TIP: It's better to be a Participant than to have a Bookmark! Read on...Bookmarks:In order to Bookmark a thread, you must specifically Select it to be Bookmarked. Just replying doesn't make it a bookmark. Participated:Any thread you post in/Reply to makes you a Participant. As a Participant, anytime someone posts in that thread the Participated button will display the New button beside it. Better to be a Participant than just have a Bookmark:A huge advantage to to seeing that New button near Participated is that when you click on the link of the Participated thread, you are taken to the NEWEST POST in that thread regardless of what page it's on. With a Bookmark you are taken to the first post of the thread and you must click through the pages and scroll down the page to reach the end. On the other hand, a Bookmark YOU MUST SELECT to be a Bookmark. Just because you posted something OR even started the thread yourself, DOES NOT make it Bookmarked. You MUST go to the Action drop down button and select Bookmark... or Remove Bookmark it your opting out of it. So, there you have it
