Same subject, different medium.
Television used to have some great Christmas Specials on every year.
My favorites were always musical shows. :clap
Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Mitch Miller, Fred Waring, Tennessee Ernie, and, of course, Bob Hope from all over the world at military installations.
There was also The Nutcracker Ballet or Babes in Toyland operetta.
I think one of the best, IMHO, was "Amahl and the Night Visitors", by Gian Carlo Menotti.
How about you?

My wife has us watch "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby every year. Its the one where they put on a show for the old CO.

Any of the Christmas Specials with pretty much any of the Bob Hope era greats. As in Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, etc.

While too new to be traditional, I find the Christmas episodes of NCIS pretty good for modern TV--there's almost always a heartwarming ending, like DiNozzo screening It's A Wonderful Life for the whole team or Gibbs helping reconnect a girl with her long-lost father.
