Been quite the day. Vehicle accident, car totalled, Emergany Ambulance ride, afternoon and evening in the ER, head to toe X-rays, then a stop at Wallgreens drug Store to pick up Belinda's pain Rx only to be told that they are in disputed with TriCare Military Insuranse & it's Rx Express Scripts department. Seems the military medicane has increased its rates and demanding Wallgreens increase their co-pay fees to the military. They have refused. Big government trying to dictate Rx prices. So off to another pharmacy, this one at Safeway. Belinda was very blessed as nothing has been broken. Our Pastor came to the hospital to visit us and pray just before Belinda went into X-Ray. Witness said at the accident site, that the truck traveled fast, never slowed down, or braked. Belinda is pretty banged up and in pain. She can't walk without a brace on her leg as her knee gives out. Neck, arms, shoulders, and other places hurt. lots of bruises. I guess she was blessed as it could have been worse for her.

Gary, I'm glad Belinda was not hurt any more than she was.
Sounds like it is mostly time to heal that is needed, plus a bit of pain medication.
My prayers for both of you.

Hopeful for a speedy and easy recovery. That fact there were no fatalities is a great Christmas present. :god_bless_usa

THANK GOD. Dont forget the psychological affects this could bring. Keep her mind busy, full of seasonal Happy thoughts. If she'll let you touch her, give her some mini-massages, keep your hand on hers or her arm, or whatever. The docs will take care of the inside of the body. you have to help her through the mental trauma.
be well, stay well
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Gary, I had the same kind of a t-bone accident a few years back while driving a subaru. Guy just plowed through the intersection and nailed me. Whacked my head on the rearview mirror, knocked it off, and was dazed for a few minutes. While I was sitting in the middle of the intersection waiting for my head to clear, some old broad comes driving by and gives me the finger, telling me I should get out of the intersection. Ain't life grand.
The wheel was actually torn off the half shaft, engine wouldnt start, so I sat there waiting for the cops.
I was fine, I figured the car was garbage.
Surprise, 5 weeks later I got it back, and you couldnt tell it was in ANY kind of accident. Ran better than ever, they replaced the half shaft, two right side doors, front fender, hood, wheel and tire, so dont be amazed if you see it back in your driveway someday. Of course it is an American car, and you might not want it back, but stranger things have happened.

this is whats left of my sons '08 accent.... he was sitting in the center left turn lane when a car coming against him changed to many lanes and hit him dead on... all the airbags except one popped... he owed 9000 and the insurance paid 11000... we would have gone down to texas if mark would have still been working at that dealership. instead my nephew was selling his '02 toyota tacoma extracab...we snagged that up in a hurry... some days you get the bear....

Gene, I gather your son was not hurt. You didn't say. Did his airbag open? I've sure had my fair share of accidents. Five to be exact. A vehicle ran a stop sign and we hit. I was rearended twice. One accident east side Narrows bridge (blinded by sun). Once fell asleep and swiped a vehicle.
Accidents can it anyone at anytime. That is why they are called accidents.
