I received the below email from Willy Peeters. Posting it here hoping we can help him out. ------------------------------------------------------- Dear Mr. McGee,
Congratulations on a fantastic website! Truly a joy to surf and check out.
A modeler friend of mine who's also an F-106 fan sent it to me, equally enthused.
I'm contacting you to see if you can tell me where I can find or obtain accurate scale drawings, preferably with cross sections.
You may recognize my name from my Lock On series of books and I'd like to add scale drawings of the 106 to my collection of scale drawing sets I already made over the years(close to 20 so far). Of the Century series I only have the F-104 so far. But, before I go out and measure one up I like to start from drawings which are as accurate as possible.
Even if they're not 100%accurate I like some that are as close as possible. I will then change and add what's necessary to make them accurate using hundreds of pictures I will go take of it, plus the actual measurements with a tape ruler.
Thanks in advance for your help and I wish you continued success with your website and whatever else you're involved with. If it's as good as this website it should be equally fantastic.
Best regards,
Willy Peeters, eagleonem@hotmail.com author Lock On series ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Willy Peeters, eagleonem@hotmail.com author Lock On series ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I recognize that name. Believe he is also the artist that does caricatures of military aircraft. I specifically remember a T-33 with ADWC markings he did several years ago. www.artsandcomics.com/index.htmlAnyway... Gonna have to say Bert Kinzey's book, "F-106 Delta Dart in Detail & Scale" is going to be his best bet. www.amazon.com/F-106-Delta-Dart-detail-scale/dp/1888974265I'm actually a bit surprised he hasn't pursued that angle yet to tell the truth. He used to post his latest aircraft cartoons on a modeling web site I used to frequent, and I know at least a few F-106 fans there. That book has been in print for several years, and has scale drawings with several cross sections. From his note, this will fit the bill for him. (Edit: Saw this before my e-mail. Note is on the way to him!)
