Dave Brubeck died to-day at age 91. He would have been 92 on Thursday. Guess we share a birthday, but, I'm not that old, yet. Brubeck served in WW2 in Patton's Third Army. If you like Jazz, you most likely enjoy listening to Dave Brubeck. I sure do. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Brubeck#Early_life_and_careerJim Too :santahat

Very cool jazz man. Yep. Makes me also think of the late Vince Guaraldi (think "Charlie Brown".) He was a Korean War vet. An Army cook in fact, just like my wife was. (Okay, my wife served in Korea, but in the '80s!) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vince_GuaraldiJust sitting here listening to his album, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" on iTunes... Nice. I've had it for years. Here's a track from the album on YouTube...

I can just sit back in my lazy-boy and a cold one and listen to him all night. RIP Dave :god_bless_usa
