It's been a few years since I have visited the Collings Foundation's flying war birds. When my kids were growing up I ofter took them to see the aircraft. (B-17 & B-24) They are now flaying a B-25 also and it is painted up great. Currently they are traveling around the Pacific Northwest. If you have never visited them it's a real treat and a good history lesson for kids. Now that we have our two granddaughters for the summer I decided to take them over to have a tour of the war birds at the Port Angeles Airport in NW Washington State. Find out when they will be in your area. Just a few photo's of our few hours spent on the airport flightnine with the aircraft. :http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm

Now two photos for us maintenance troops. Maintenance on #1 engine (I really wanted to say, "I'm a propulsion technician you need any help?") But I was good and just took the picture. Granddaughter at propellor of B-17 B-17 B-24 Ground tours are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids 30 minute flights in the aircraft are around $400.00 I flew in the B-17 about 4 years ago when the flights were $350.00 and lasted 1 hour. It was an awesome experance. Anyone intrested I'm willing to share and post a few of the B-17 flight.
