This is a nice video of Bi-plane aerodynimics. Check out how he hovers it right beside himeself. Bad ending though.

Neat video. The guy really knows how to fly that thing. I was saddened at the end because that was a good looking airplane. I wonder if it was an accident. I will think it was an accident because who would want to destroy something as good looking as this RC model airplane? He did some cool stunts, though and the smoke was a nice touch.

Just now watched the video. Wow I think even the great Leo would have been impressed.

I have some pictures on Photobucket of the 106 model I finished. I left the landing gear off and closed the doors. I also closed the speed brakes. Now I don't know which link address I have to use so you can see the pictures. It has HTML and Image and one other that I forgot. There are 7 pictures. Should I just put them in a post? Tell me how to do that if it's better or easier. Thanks, Mike

Thanks, Mike Mike, I'm not familiar with photobucket but try editiing you original post and insert the URL for the page that the Photobucket pictures appear on. The pics won't show up on the post but we should be able to click the link and go to the page and see them all. If that doesn't work, we'll go to plan B and post them individually. Pat P.

Nice work on the model! BTW, if you want to have the photo show up in the message use the IMG Code links. They are on the bottom of the list on the right side of the page when you open the photo, and have the letters "img" in square brackets [] before and after the link. I'm still getting used to the "new" Photobucket. They let us old users keep using the original version up to the first of the year, then switched everyone over. I think I can get one of your pics to work here... Yep, it works. Again, nice job!

Thanks for the nice words guys. I appreciate hearing them. Jim too, that was what I was going for and I figured out a simple way to get that tail flash. I masked off an area to paint yellow. Then after a day or so, I used 1/16" black tape. Not electricians tape but the kind that is used on cars. It's pretty easy with the tape.
Jim, if you are supposed to display a model, I say go ahead and do it. If I were to point out all the little mistakes and some of the larger ones, you would be very surprised.
Mark, I did see that but I just didn't know so I decided to just start trying the different ones and the first one was a good enough way to show the pictures. I will remember that about the img, though.
By the way, while you are there, feel free to look at all the pictures I have there. I dont have any restrictions on the albums. Thanks again for the very nice words. Mike

.Lugnutts what happened to your signature? ? I don't know what happened to it. I don't think I did anything to change it or make it go away. I will check to see what the settings are on my profile

I went to the website that provides the signatures and they no longer support non-lifetime members. Even the log in box says Lifetime Members Only. It doesn't owe me anything so that's ok.

Looks like you can't even sign up anymore. I was a "free" member some time ago (many years), but couldn't see paying for it. Still don't. BTW, for those that do not know, the web site is www.militarysignatures.com :scratch_head And since I'm scratching my head. Remember a few posts back when I was experimenting with, and mentioning Photobucket? Well last night my computer did...something...I don't know what, and when I logged on this morning it took forever, and gave me an "unexpected" shut down message. Turns out it zapped all of the web sites I automagically log onto (including this one) and Photobucket. When I opened it, I had to re-log on (no big deal), but it went BACK to the old version. I also got an e-mail today from them asking me to complete a survey on why I opted out. (WTF?) At least I didn't lose all my photos (almost 1,500!) so that's good. Definitely deserves another ... :scratch_head BTW, anyone else notice how this thread morphed from an "Awesome RC Bi-Plane Demo" to...this?! No? Neither did I! :green-smile

This is the RCs and Models department but I probably should have started a new thread. Sorry about that.
