How common is our generic F-106 Delta Dart patch to get these days? Are there a lot out there available or are they hard to find? Would it worthwhile to make some? Attachments:

Just a really quick search on eBay found 7-9(10) in various conditions, and prices. I don't think the originals are that hard to find. www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=F-106+patch&_sacat=0The problem I see is finding a true original as that is the only version many collectors will even consider. I have a couple (I think I traded one for something a few years ago), and am pretty sure they are originals.

Yea, but you see the prices on those things? Not something you'd want to get in bulk and hand out at a reunion or something.

just looked on ebay, there were about a half dozen, only one was clearly used, the others said used but they seemed pristine. they ranged between 3" and 5" and the bid prices started at $5 and went to about $15. There was one BUY NOT at $25 bucks.
Also seemed like one guy had most of them

I have a couple (I think I traded one for something a few years ago), and am pretty sure they are originals. And I thought all the rabid avid collectors could identify an original at 10 paces...... Would I rather have a distorted out of shape washed out one from someones' old fatique shirt, or one from either Pat or The Castle Air Museum that was made in Korea? ? I am going to wear it, build it into a clock and give them away... I think the originals from Convair were 5" dia. My last Original disappeared, along with my blue MA1 jacket from a resturaunt 35 years ago..... Today, I wear a replica sage green and the only way any one can determine authenticity is look for the old star and wing stencil on the left shoulder...... I'll buy some new ones from either source.... The Old Sarge PROBLEM------- I notice that this pic has RED a/c... Original were silver? ?? or Black? ?
