They were the same plane, different configurations. The original was the Cessna Bobcat, twin-engine, tail dragger. Here is a Wilkipedia article about them: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cessna_AT-17_BobcatIt was what Sky King flew in the early episodes. Jim Too :god_bless_usa
