Now thats an airplane. Looks something like the biplane Belinda and I flew around the Hawaiian Island of Kauai' in, along the Napali Coast, over the Wailua Falls, and up the Waimea Canyon. That biplane was painted orange. That was 2008 during our 25th Anniversary trip. A great year. This biplane was a Port Townsend Airport today. Jefferson County, WA. Attachments:

Now that's not something you see everyday. If he'd a deck on it somewhere it would be perfect.

I'm with Mark.
Two 86s, probably H models, seeing Jim worked on them, escorting an EB-66.
I don't think the regular B-66 had protrusions on the fuselage, as the clock version does.

Walter, the Stagger Wing Beech was designated UC-43.
There were a number of models, depending on which engine it had.
They were a great plane and when they first appeared, mid-1930s, they were as fast as a lot of military airplanes.
It was the Gulfstream of the Depression years.
I think TSgt Maxey had left Minot before you got there, but, he had a Stagger Wing that he kept at the Minot airport.
I don't remember what model his was, it was military surplus, but it had a Jacobs engine.
