Steve, we have been asking that your oatmeal be blessed every morning before we take 10 pills each and have our Honey Oats.

well, its been three days since your last message! Hows your throat feeling? how are you feeling? Pinched any cute nurses lately?
when I was recovering from back and knee surgery, I used to get away with a lot of "hip" balancing, "thigh" support, maybe even more. used to just smile a lot, excuse myself, apologize, and do it again at the very next chance. Not one of them ever pulled away or got angry, in fact, after awhile I think they expected and enjoyed it. Seemed like some of them worked so damn long they didnt have time for themselves.
All I can say is that most women have soft spots, and not only in their hearts.
Only grabbed ONE doctor, but she was one of the hottest of all, 26 year old cute blond orthopedist, who worked on one of my knees. used to kid her all the time about how far up my knee she used to go. Used to bring her blueberry/vanilla gelati for after I left. Shes been in Haiti doing disaster relief since their hurricane a few years ago.
let you go, you can either laugh or go nuts.
Ron

I got an encouraging note from Marsha.
To-day, I think, is her birthday, and she said her Birthday Wish came to be.
Steve is doing better, but still a long journey ahead. He will likely be in hospital for quite a while.
The doctors are encouraged, as are Steve and Marsha.
Marsha thanks everyone for their prayers and sends her love to each of us.
Keep praying for both of them, and keep sending cards and notes.
Jim Too

Sorry to hear Steve needed surgery. Hope and praying for fast recovery for Steve. Like some prayers for my baby granddaughter who had a 40 pound door fall on her. The Turkish Hospital did a head scan but didn't find anything broken. Bloody nose, bump & bruse on head and chin, and will likely have two black eyes. It could have been much worse. Attachments:

Gary, I'm happy to hear your grand-daughter wasn't seriously hurt.
I'm sure she her parents were very shaken by the door falling on her.
She looks so sweet, but sure clinging to Mommy.
I hope your daughter and her family can get back to the States, very soon.

Please be in prayer for Steve and Marsha.
He has gone backwards and is in more than critical condition.
Needless to say, the entire family needs prayer.

Just a note from our daughter about our granddaughter. It was on facebook this morning.
Belinda and I Thank all of you who prayed and passed along good wishes.
"Not sure if it's all the prayers and warm thoughts family and friends are giving us, but Bailey has really bounced back and been so resilient with the accident and healing. She still looks horrible and painful, but she is acting her normal high mantnence playful self, and seems not to have any pain! She seemed to be well enough that I took her to "728 Day" (squadron party) at the base pool and she ran around having fun in the water. It's a nice relief to see her doing so well!"

Steve Steve, it has been since Aug 4th that we last heard from you. Marsha has been keeping us posted here and through calls and emails with Jim Too and we really appreciate that. We had a congregational prayer for you and Marsha this morning in church. Lots of people are praying for both of you. Steve, many of us have been where you are now and can relate to how pain killers put you in another world. We usually found out from our loved ones during our waking moments that we had made the some of strangest requests and recalled some rare moments of our lifetime. Marsha, most of us have been where you are right now with a loved one in danger. Feeling scared, helpless, not eating or sleeping well, hoping and praying for any good news or response to meds. It is with this hindsight that we can tell you that you must take care of yourself. You have many friends here to reach out to so don't hesitate to tell us what you need. We know that you have family in the area but we are not sure if Steve does. So you lean on us all you can. We'll be there for you. Things will get better. Pat P.
