OK, Its December 8th, and i passed another of those little milestones in my life. I was recalling that on yesterday, December 7th "A Day that will go down in infamy"!! Well, december 7th has had a profound place in my life. My question to everyone is "Where were you on December 7th, XXXX ?" I can tell you that on December 7th, 1966, at 0715 in the morning, I was standing in the induction center at Denver, Colorado awaiting a Major's arrival. When he finally did appear, about 0725, we were all called to attention, the paperwork had been filled out, then we listened as he said "Gentlemen, repeat after me----- I do solemnly swear ----- " And now, some 39 years later, I guess I'm the better for it! That is a lasting permanent memory for me. Everytime I hear of others that talk of that day, of 25 years earlier, I have my own memories of 1966! How about the rest of you??? A beer fer everyone that has a memory of that day! MArv
