This is a pretty neat site for some of those obscure videos I find such as the F-106/F-102 video with the 329th FIS Six. www.youtube.com/airboydI've discovered over the YEARS I've been fortunate to be accepted as a member, and HONORED to be a moderator here on this forum that WE, on occasion, get folks that think all we do is talk about airplanes here!  As a service to those members (whom we always welcome, regardless) I would like to provide a link to a modeling forum that has an excellent sub-forum called "Research Corner" that may fulfill the need to just "talk airplanes." It's called "Aircraft Resource Center." Here is the link to their forums. s362974870.onlinehome.us/forums/air/index.php?act=idxScroll down to the Resource Corner and be amazed. All they do there is talk airplanes! It really is amazing! No one talks about the weather, their grandchildren, guns, travelling on old two-lane roads across the southwest, politics, retired bald engineers, or any other BS. Just obscure airplane crap that most of US here only dig up to tie into a story about getting drunk on a TDY we took many years ago, then remembering how great it is that our kids have moved out, but missing them terribly. Any-who, as a moderator I thought it was important I share this information with our new members.   |
