Awesome video. I noticed that the bird they focused on during initial taxi was a Marine. A Major Pat Cooke I believe. Blue Angels typically have a few Marines as part of team. I've only seen them live once, and it was awesome. Thunderbirds a few times, Red Arrows (UK) several as they would do an arrival/departure show at RAF Upper Heyford. They used it as a refueling base for Air Shows within a few hundred miles of us.

Great video Jeff! Have seen both the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels perform at the annual Ft. Worth Alliance Air Show. Both performances are excellent. Looking into the west afternoon sun makes the Angels a little easier to see and photograph. www.allianceairshow.com/Home.aspxThis year the Thunderbirds and Canadian Snowbirds are performng. I have not seen the Snowbirds show before. Admission is free but they charge $20 for parking regardless how many are in the vehicle. Pat P. :us_flag

The Blue Angels did Andrews the weekend before Memorial Day weekend and were great. I watch them from my front porch and avoid the crowd. My son had to mind his squadron's ice cream booth on Friday (the military's day for the show) and got caught up in the traffic snarl.
