Jim, I'm not sure you are correct about it being a deuce. If I'm ever in that area again I'll have to stop there. That truck parked on the side looks like a maintenance truck?

Guaaaarrrannnteeeed it is a deuce... The bar was established in 1947, a few years before the Six or any other delta winged a/c.... The truck has a Calif. plate on it- I thought the same thing, though..... Jim

It is in San Diego, the home of Convair. Don't forget, Convair also built the Sea Dart , along with the Six and Deuce. So, maybe whoever made the neon sign just did a composite. It would help to know when the sign was made. It could be a replacement for an earlier sign. Looks nice whatever it is. Jim Too
