Just a quick admin note about the "time stamp" on everyone's posts. If you post something, and the time doesn't look right on it, it is probably because your personal settings are not set to recognize DST. (Don't ask me how I know!) Anyway, to change (or check) just click on your own name, go to "Modify Profile", scroll all the way down to the bottom, and look for the "Currently Observing DST" box, and fix it if required. You can also set the time zone you are in if that is the problem. Drop me, or any other moderator a note if you need further assistance!

OLD INDIAN SAY "ONLY WHITE MAN THINK HE CAN TAKE ONE HOUR FROM ONE END OF DAY AND PUT IT ON OTHER END AND HAVE MORE DAY" True enough sir! I'll add a caveat - this does not apply to Indians, or those that live in Arizona, Hawaii, or that little section of Indiana, and any other place with residents that are never late for work on the Monday following the DST changeover!! :salute

I just saw this posted on one of the blogs I visit frequently, and as the original poster said, "They live among us." There was no information on the source newspaper, and I don't care to check snopes.com to see if it's made an entry there. It's just funny. And scary that, 1) someone believes this, and 2) a newspaper editor printed this.

Ron - I would hope that there really is some irony in this article -- but I can only agree with you! I don't think this person really understands the principle of Daylight Savings time or natural science for that matter either!
God - do they REALLY live and breed among us???
Yep -- they do! :drunk

Kind of like that Congressman who thought Guam would tip over if we moved all those Marines over from Okinawa. :rofl

It's that time again!
Don't forget to modify your profile and select "No" (if appropriate) if you are NOT currently observing daylight savings time.
It will fix the time stamps on your posts.
Again, click on your name, then click "Modify Profile", scroll down to "Dates and Times", and find "Currently Observing DST:" and change to "No." Then, scroll all the way to the bottom, and click on "Modify Profile."
That's it!
