Trying a new design concept. In time when I can get the F-106 down pat, I would like to try this design with all the Six FIS's. Thanks for allowing me to share. Attachments:

:clap
good job. If I could offer a suggestion: The area under the roundel (black shadow) blends with the stbd wing tank and makes the belly look "pudgy".If you changed the underside "shadow" to a medium grey vs black, and left the wingtanks black, I think it would look more trim. Just my 2¢. I really like the image and concept very much.
:2thumbsup

I see what Jim's talking about now. I didn't realize until he mentioned it that the bulge of the fuselage underside is actually the right wing tank. Yes, maybe a slightly different shadow color would help distinguish the two.
Good job though! If you make one for each of the F-106 FIS' I will add them to each of respective pages on the website.

I updated the title of this Board to include Graphics and Artwork so we have a spot specifically for this type of thread.

Yes on the 84th. I decided to continue using this program, although lettering like the "U.S. AIR FORCE" is going to take me some time. I realize there are easier programs, but what fun is it if the program does all the work? (IMHO). Here is the 95th FIS project and I will start on one more that is much like an F-15 project I startes over 15 years ago. If I can find it, I'll post it in this thread. Attachments:

Just so I got it -- you are using MS Paint for this artwork? Holy smokes brother, that is amazing work!! By the way, do you have the "Amarillo" font in your system? www.dafont.com/amarillo-usaf.fontThis is a shareware program I found years ago (though on a different site) but it is very nice.
