Just wanted to stop by and say hi to all the dart population here. Especially to Jim Scanlon....I was with the 5th FIS 62-66 in the Engine shop and I remember Scanlon... I missed the first reunion as my two sons were returning from Iraq.they were members of the 2nd Armored Cav Regiment from Ft Polk LA....... I am hoping there will be another reunion. After the Air Force in Minot N.Dak, I eventually joined the Michigan Army National Guard working on the Engines of Hughey Helios and oh 58 Kiowas....I retired from there as well as the Defense Logistics agency where I was a Quality Assurance Specialist. I also worked on C119 Recip Engines.....Dirty for sure. @ Selfridge AFB....403rd TCW....Troop Carrier Wing as a WG 10 Mechanic..You will remember that the C119 was known as the Flying Box Car... Had fun Taxiing to the Compass Rose and doing Mag Checks....(Magnetos)

Glad to see you made it to the forums!! I too was an Army guy, but I was Army first, then went USAF Blue! Looks like we did it ass-backwards! Don't be a stranger Sarge!! Mark O Edit: Hey Sarge, be sure to add a 5th FIS avatar to your profile so everyone knows where you served! Just click on your name "sarge44", then click on "Modify Profile" and scroll down to "Personal Information." Under that you'll see "Avatar:" with a drop-down menu. Find the 5th FIS patch, click on it, then scroll down to the bottom, and hit "Modify Profile" to save it.
If you don't, our webmaster will so get to it!!
