OK, what's the latest on the re-release of the F-106 by Revell/Monogram? They have probably heard from a lot of sixer fans. I have written them twice in the past 18 months appealing for a F-106 re-release. Got a standard post card back that said "we have forwarded your suggestion to the new products team". Second time I included a set of F-106 poster prints but never heard a thing. I have looked at the Revell web site and they don't show a F-106 release coming up this year. Does anyone have any good poop on this? Pat

At least that's the word over at Hyperscale.com. As usual, I'll believe it when I see it. (And buy some!)

I heard July/Aug, Linda at Hobby Hut here in NJ is checking on it for me. There's been a flood of the old Monogram kits on e-bay, people are unloading them to get a high price before the new release. If I hear anything I'll post it. Hope the decal manufacturers produce some new decal sheets. Jon

I happen to have 5 1/48 Monogram kits of the F106. Hopefully some day they will be built as the 5 birds the 460th FIS took to & won Wm Tell 72.

I picked up two of the 1/48 kits from squadron.com within the past month and greatmodels.com has the 1/72 Hasegawa kit in stock.
