This is from the same source as the Six Shooter video, the San Diego Air and Space Museum page on You Tube. They've got some great stuff!
Here it is...57-2507! Notice the original wing with the "fences" just like the F-102. The narrator mentions that testing was continuing on the "Case 29" wing.
Enjoy! (It's 8:35 minutes.)

I've also got the A model first flight at www.f-106deltadart.com/history.htm although the video is primarily about the F-102.

Nice find Mark! It's amazing what saving video snips can be worth for people shooting later films. Thanks, Pat P. PS: They have an extensive WWII archive.

This is pretty cool! I can't find a way to embed it though like we can with youtube vids... shame.

Yea, I'm not sure how that website Critical Past managed to get the rights to what sure look like government-produced films. I thought those were public domain. They sure charge out the nose for them.
It did stir up an old memory, however. When I was in high school, and CAP we used to be able to order 16mm films from the Air Force Audiovisual Service for no cost. All sorts of stuff. We didn't have a projector in our squadron, so we would go watch them at the community college library! Of course we had to return them, but what an awesome privilege of being in CAP.
Days long gone...

Re: Not being able to embed videos.
I suppose adding the link to the mock-up video will have to do. Makes me wish I had access to the USAF film archives. There are bound to be more videos out there that haven't made it to the internet.
