I've mentioned this guy's blog before, but this one is pretty neat. He started it off with a series of F-106 photos. (I bet I know where he got the background info!) He usually posts once each weekend, so I missed this issue from September 5th. replicainscale.blogspot.com/Be sure to click on the photos for larger versions. A pretty good variety of squadrons from the 80s. If you're interested in looking at old airplane photos, this is a neat blog to spend some time at. Like most bloggers he has an archive. Mark

"Kind of interesting. In the pictures of 106's on the blog is a picture of 56-0461 in the background and he points out it is here now on display.

Well, I guess it is, isn't it? This guy is a real airplane nut, so I'm sure he did his research. Reading him often, I have noticed he sometimes leaves little details out, or even makes small mistakes. For example, notice the 49th bird. He describes it as "New York's 49th FIS", and if you click on the properties for the photo he labeled it as "ANG." I'll send an e-mail off to him about that one. He is very good at making corrections.

Hey guys, I got a question from Phil Friddell, the owner of the blog I wrote about, and he was wondering what that rail is attached to the pylon on the wing of 147. I'm not even going to guess knowing I have so many experts here! Thanks! Mark
